PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately perform impact relief control in the case of raising a boom up to a limit position, according to the state of a front device. SOLUTION: This back hoe is provided with an impact relief control means for performing the slowdown control of a boom cylinder upon detecting the approach of the boom to the operation limit in the rising direction from the attitude of the boom cylinder. The back hoe is further provided with a pressure sensor for detecting the load pressure of the boom cylinder, and a buffer function changing means for automatically changing the intensity of the buffer function of the impact relief control means on the basis of the detected load pressure so that the higher the detected load pressure is, the weaker the buffer function becomes.
