PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method for forming a wall surface such that patterns by using bricks and tiles can be easily produced even on a ceiling surface, and to reduce the amount of a used joint material. SOLUTION: According to the improved method for forming the wall surface, a wall material is employed, which is comprised of a neck step portion and a head step portion. The neck step portion allows the injected joint material to penetrate therethrough into the interior of the wall material. The head step portion prevents the joint material penetrated into the neck step portion from peeling off in a wall surface external direction.
