摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical coordinate information output device of high precision, which accurately detects a position pointed by a coordinate pointing member, namely, the position of a pointing part of this member to output its coordinate information. SOLUTION: The coordinate information output device has a position detecting part, having an angle detection means which receives light from a coordinate pointing member 3, on which a light-emitting element is mounted for detecting the incidence angle of incident light in accordance with light intensity information on the light receiving element, and this device is comprised of a means which throws prescribed light from two or more different parts above the coordinate pointing member 3, a light detection means which is arranged in a prescribed position and receives thrown light to detect the direction of incidence of thrown light, and an operation means which calculates the direction of incidence from the light intensity information of the light detection means.</p>
