<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize reduction in load of a transfer device, suppression of deterioration in communication quality, and throughput improvement in packet transfer. <P>SOLUTION: A decision switching part 15a decides whether a transfer destination address, based on answering (entry), is determined. The decision switching part 15a, when it decides on the determination instructs a CPU 12a to determine the transfer destination address. Then a CPU 12a determines the transfer destination address, based on the answer stored in a route table 12b. The decision switching part 15a controls LICs 11d to 11f so as to transfer arrival packets to the transfer destination address determined by the CPU 12a. When it is decided that the determination to not to decide is made, the decision switching part 15a controls the LICs 11d to 11f so as to transfer the arrival packets to the set transfer destination address, without refering to the route table 12b whatsoever. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
