PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable walker used by the handicapped while supporting the body without a caregiver particularly at home, provided with a mechanism easily foldable in a single operation with excellent stability, formed of a lightweight, compact wooden product and movable in a comparatively narrow indoor space at home. SOLUTION: The upper face of a post 2 and the lower face of a body support handle 1 are joined and fixed with a tenon and an adhesive, and the lower face of the post 2 and the upper face of a leg 3 are joined and fixed with a tenon, an adhesive and a wood screw. The walker is extensible and foldable in the width direction by a folding mechanism composed of a combination of upper post-supporting bolts 9, lower post-supporting bolts 10, a spacer 16, an X-type alternate extensible brace 4, bracings 5 and a folding handhold 14.
