(ORGANIC THIOMETHYL)CHLOROSILANE DERIVATIVE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an (organic thiomethyl)chlorosilane derivative and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The (organic thiomethyl)chlorosilane derivative is represented by formula (1) (R1is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group; R2is a 1-6C alkyl group or an aryl group). The method for producing an (organic thiomethyl)chlorosilane derivative comprises subjecting a dichlorohydrosilane compound and an organic thiomethyl halide compound to dehydrohalogenation reaction in the presence of a quaternary organic phosphonium salt, a tertiary amine or a quaternary organic ammonium salt catalyst.
