摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently obtain a lithium hydroxide anhydrous salt in which lumpy grains with large grain sizes are not contained, and the grain sizes are small and uniform from lithium hydroxide monohydrate. SOLUTION: A method for rendering lithium hydroxide monohydrate anhydrous is provided by which a furnace core tube is heated to≥150°C using a rotary kiln to render the lithium hydroxide monohydrate anhydrous. In the rotary kiln, the charged lithium hydroxide monohydrate is successively heated up part by part as moving the inside of the furnace. In this way, the amount of the moisture to be generated per unit time is reduced, thus it is not hardly made into lumpy shape, and a powdery or granular lithium hydroxide anhydrous salt can be obtained. The lithium hydroxide anhydrous salt is not hard, sintered one though being granular shape, thus, the lithium hydroxide anhydrous salt in which grain sizes are uniform can be obtained with high yield only by sieving treatment, and, even in the case that more pulverization is performed, the lithium hydroxide anhydrous salt can be easily pulverized.
