PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal blanket and its mounting method capable of facilitating alignment of hook-and-loop fasteners with high accuracy at mounting, visually confirming the fitting state of the hook-and-loop fasteners and suppressing generation of peeling off caused by position deviation of the hook-and-loop fasteners. SOLUTION: Through holes 4 are formed at respective mounting positions of a plurality of first hook-and-loop fasteners 3 so as to penetrate a multi-layer heat insulation film 2 and the first hook-and-loop fasteners 3 and alignment marks 7 are formed on a plurality of second hook-and-loop fasteners 6 respectively. The thermal blanket 1 is mounted to an object 5 to be mounted by fitting the first hook-and-loop fastener 3 to the second hook-and-loop fastener 6 by positioning the alignment mark 7 in the through hole 4.
