PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-beam light source device capable of suppressing fluctuation of a sub-scanning beam pitch small, and to provide an optical scanner with the same. SOLUTION: The multi-beam light source device which comprises: a light source device holding member 36 which holds two or more light sources 21, 22 emitting light beams in one body so that the light sources can be turned about the optical axis; a turn adjusting means 40 which enables adjusting space in the sub-scanning direction on the image plane by turning the two or more light beams about the optical axis, and in which the turn adjusting means 40 is configured of: a stepping motor 47; a sliding member 45 which is attached to an output shaft 47a of this stepping motor and turns the two or more light sources by transforming rotational drive of the stepping motor into linear motion; and an energizing member 37 which makes the turn adjusting means 40 abut on the output shaft 47a via this slide member 45 and always energizes it in one direction, is provided with a heat insulation members 45a, 50 between the output shaft 47a and the slide member 45.
