A gripping device for brake linings is provided to grip all sizes and shapes of brake linings by installing magnets on ends of a pair of fixing brackets installed on grippers, and to easily grip brake linings unevenly disposed on transport pallets by adjusting angles of revolving blocks and the gap between the grippers. A gripping device for brake linings comprises a main frame(100) having a mounting unit(110) for mounting a transport robot, a mold gripping unit(200) installed on a front side of the main frame for fixing a press mold(1) pressing brake linings, and a base plate(310) installed on a rear section of the main frame. Plural grippers gripping the brake linings using the magnetic force are coupled to the lower side of the base plate. On the base plate, plural spacing adjusting holes are disposed for adjusting the gap between the grippers. The grippers include circular blocks(331) having a predetermined diameter and installed on the lower side of the base plate, revolving blocks(332) combined with the circular blocks, a pair of fixing brackets(333) installed separately on each of the revolving blocks, and magnets(335) installed on each lower end of the fixing brackets.
