<p>A method for detecting lymph node from gastric carcinoma is provided to easily distinguish a lymph node with metastasis from the gastric carcinoma from a normal lymph node by using various kinds of markers, thereby easily detecting the metastasized carcinoma cells. A method for detecting lymph node from gastric carcinoma comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining a biological sample from a patient; and (b) measuring the marker level from the sample, wherein the level exceeding a predetermined cut-off level becomes an index of the lymph node from the gastric carcinoma. In the method, the marker is a gene, a gene fragment or a complement thereof, or a protein, a protein fragment or a polypeptide. The method further comprises a step of measuring a gene constitutively expressed. A kit for performing a test for determining a gastric carcinoma diagnosis in the biological sample comprises a material for detecting a marker such as CEA, MUC2 and CK-19.</p> |
