A method for vibratory root digging is characterized in that after applying vertical forces for removing a loosened soil layer together with the roots are cut out by the shape of a trapezoidal cross-section and simultaneously in doing so soil additives are separated by vibration. A special feature of a device for vibratory digging of roots is in that rear parts of ploughshares are connected between each other by a plate fixed as inclined one the plane of which is arranged at an acute angle to the direction of the forward movement the lower edge of which is made as a blade. The rear part of the ploughshares comprises rods of round cross-sections, fixed with gaps, which are a continuation thereof. Each of the rear parts of the both ploughshares also comprises rods fixed in such a way that from behind a separating pass is formed, the cross profile of which is shaped as an equilateral trapezium directed upwards by base thereof.
