A method for manufacturing a case for an overhead light is provided to discharge heat generated from a ballast and a lamp by extruding a band-shaped uneven groove and a band-shaped uneven protrusion. A method of manufacturing a case(100) for an overhead light includes the steps of: manufacturing an aluminum profile by extruding aluminum material to form band-shaped uneven grooves(11) and band-shaped uneven protrusions(12) alternately; manufacturing piece type profiles(20) by cutting the aluminum profile obliquely; manufacturing a peripheral frame(30) by touching and welding slant cross sections of the piece type profiles; forming a coating layer(31) by coating the surface of the peripheral frame; forming strip lines(32) by grinding the surfaces of the band-shaped uneven protrusions; and finishing the case by coupling the peripheral frame to a base(40). |
