<p>The invention relates to a polymer alloy meant to manufacture soles specific for the protection footwear and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the polymer alloy comprises polyvinyl chloride with a 100% plasticizer absorption, vulcanized nitrile rubber, recovered from waste elastomers with a particle size ranging from 10 nium to 1 mm, said plasticizer consisting of dioctylphthalate, benzoyl peroxide as initiating agent, calcium stereate as polyvinyl chloride stabilzer, orthothiodipropionate dilauryl as antioxidant, and methyl methacrylate as compatibilizer. The process for preparing the polymer alloy consists in mixing waste elastomers from nitrile rubber, vulcanized with benzoyl peroxide as initiator and methyl methacrylate for 4 ... 5 min in an internal mixer, in adding polyvinyl chloride and dioctyl phthalate by mixing continuously for 2 ... 3 min, afterwards adding calcium stereate and dilauryl orthopropionate, mixing for 2 min, after 8 ... 10 min, the resulting mixture being discharged and passed into an extruder granulator, from the extruder there resulting cylindrical granules having a size of 2 ... 3 mm, which are processed by injection moulding with moulds having the shape recquired for utilization.</p> |
