Medicament for treating prostate cancer, which can be delivered to a prostate tumor via the bloodstream, comprises ultrasound microbubbles, a ligand that specifically binds to carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 1 (CEACAM-1) and is bound to the outside of the microbubbles, and a chemotherapy drug that is bound to the outside of the microbubbles or surrounded by them. An independent claim is also included for treating prostate cancer by delivering a medicament as above to a prostate tumor via the bloodstream and then destroying the microbubbles with a pulse of ultrasound.
