摘要 FIELD: physics; electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: air-zinc chemical current source (AZCCS) with liquid alkaline electrolyte filling AZCCS immediately after fabrication or directly before use contains package with cap provided by positive and negative current removing terminals and filler hole closed with plug, one or several gas-diffusion cathodes electrically connected to the positive terminal and provided with gas chambers with breathing opening system, zinc anode shaped as zinc powder brick connected to the negative terminal, and spark separator made of porous dielectric material. Anode is made of several parallel gapped flat porous bricks. Herewith brick planes are arranged in AZCCS perpendicularly to cathode surfaces. Anode bricks can be produced by dry pressing of zinc powders and expander swelling in electrolyte thus applying the effort providing the maximum brick density at minimum residual porosity 10%/20%. Bricks are covered with spark separator. Each anode brick with separator is arranged in two-cup matching sites made of corrugated and perforated polymeric material. Additionally, there is a cavity formed between cup bottom and brick surface, while corrugation direction at cup bottom is angular to the longitudinal axis. The electrolyte volume filled in AZCCS is related to total zinc weight in anode as 0.4/0.6 cm3/g. Physical parameters of breathing openings (section, length) are chosen considering limiting current that is 3-4 rated discharge currents. Gaps between bricks and cathodes are filled with the capillary matrix made of high-porous, elastic, alkaline electrolyte proof, hydrophilic material with pore size exceeding that of discharged anode brick, while total pore space exceeds that of electrolyte filling AZCCS. Cathode tightly adjoins the capillary matrix and made by mesh pressing of hydrophobisated mixed powders of industrial carbon and activated coal. ^ EFFECT: higher active mass use factor. ^ 7 cl, 2 dwg
