PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling-treatment apparatus in which when a treatment material which is subjected to a heated treatment is cooled by being guided into a cooling oil tank, this treating material is guided into the cooling oil tank in an appropriate state and cooled in a short period of time without being damaged, and the cooled treatment material is taken out from the cooling oil tank in the appropriate state. SOLUTION: In the cooling-treatment apparatus in which the treatment material 1 heat-treated in a heat-treatment furnace 10 is guided into the cooling oil tank 20 where cooling oil 21 is stored and is cooled, then the treatment material is taken out from the cooling oil tank, a guide member 22 for guiding the treatment material which is heat-treated into the cooling oil tank, is arranged by being inclined downward into the cooling oil in the cooling oil tank from the heat-treatment furnace, and at the tip end part of the guide member 22 guided into the cooling oil tank, a holding member 30 having a holding part 31 for holding the treatment material guided into the cooling oil by the guide member, is arranged so as to be turnable and also, an elevating device 34 for elevating/lowering the holding member, is arranged.
