PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently monitor a specific position.SOLUTION: A monitoring unit generates monitor information of a position in front of a vehicle travel direction on the basis of wave motions incident from in front of the vehicle travel direction. A distance specifying unit specifies a distance from the vehicle to the specific position on the basis of positional information of the vehicle and positional information of the specific position. A monitoring control unit lets the monitoring unit extract information of the specific position on the basis of the distance specified by the distance specifying unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
