摘要 The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a lightweight panel for furniture with excellent wear resistance, and specifically, to a method of manufacturing a lightweight panel for furniture with excellent wear resistance which reduces material cost, is capable of lowering weight of the panel as much as about 50%, and is capable of reducing manufacturing time by decreasing thickness of surface material used in the panel for furniture. A method of manufacturing a lightweight panel for furniture with excellent wear resistance according to the present invention includes: a first base paper preparing step of preparing a first base paper (10) of paper material and an MDF (20); a first base paper-laying up step of laying up the first base paper on the top surface of the MDF; a first base paper-bonding step of bonding the first base paper onto the top surface of the MDF by compression of a heating roller; a second base paper-preparing step of preparing a second base paper (30) impregnated with a melamine resin (11); a second base paper-laying up step of laying up the second base paper on a top surface of the first base paper; a second base paper-bonding step of bonding the second base paper onto the top surface of the first base paper by compression of a heating roller; and a panel manufacturing step of bonding a surface material in which the first base paper and the second base paper are bonded onto the top surface of the MDF to both sides of a core material. The first base paper is formed of paper material of which a surface is free of resin coating such that colors or patterns are printed on a top surface of the first base paper. The second base paper is formed of transparent material or semi-transparent material.
