LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD OF THE SAME

A liquid display device of the present invention includes pixel electrodes which receive a display voltage; a common electrode which forms first capacitance with the pixel electrodes and receives a common voltage; detection electrodes which form second capacitance with the common electrode and receive a touch driving signal; and a touch control part which supplies the touch driving signal. The voltage of the common electrode includes a first ripple element generated by the variation of the display voltage and a second ripple voltage generated by the variation of the touch driving signal. The touch control part supplies the touch driving signal to determine the polarity of the second ripple element based on the polarity of the first ripple element. So, the touch driving signal does not affect a display image.
