PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of accurately locating a radiation incident position.SOLUTION: A radiation detector 2 comprises a first scintillator 10, a second scintillator 20, a first photodetector 31, a second photodetector 32, and a position locating unit 4. The first scintillator 10 includes one end surface 11 and the other end surface 12 in a prescribed direction Z. The second scintillator 20 is juxtaposed in a direction crossing the prescribed direction for the first scintillator 10, and includes one end surface 21 and the other end surface 22 in the prescribed direction Z. The first photodetector 31 detects the scintillation light emitted from the one end surfaces 11 and 21. The second photodetector 32 detects the scintillation light emitted from the other end surfaces 12 and 22. The area of the one end surface 11 of the first scintillator 10 is smaller than the area of the other end surface 12 of the first scintillator 10. The area of the one end surface 21 of the second scintillator 20 is larger than the area of the other end surface 22 of the second scintillator 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
