PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display device capable of uniformly switching display.SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display device 1 includes a first substrate 7, an element layer 8 disposed on the first substrate 7 and having a semiconductor element 8c, an insulation layer 9 disposed on the element layer 8, and a pixel electrode 10 disposed on the insulation layer 9. The display device has, in the insulation layer 9, a through-hole 18, a conductive film 21 disposed along a side face of the through-hole 18, and a flattening film 22 filling the through-hole 18, and further includes, on the flattening film 22, a through-hole upper electrode 23 connected to the pixel electrode 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
