PURPOSE: To make it possible to position a chip circuit component through the simple operation of a slider, by placing the chip circuit component between centering blocks through the sliding motion of the slider, positioning the component by centering, and releasing the positioned component. CONSTITUTION: A slider 5 is moved back and forth between centering blocks 1, 1 to engage or disengage projections 6, 6 formed on both sides of the slider 5 with or from recesses 7, 7 formed in the centering blocks 1, 1. Thus the distance between the centering blocks 1, 1 is increased or decreased by means of electric members 2, 2. When the distance between the centering blocks 1, 1 is long, a chip circuit component 8 is received. When the distance is shortened, the component, if slanted, is straightened or it, if displaced, is positioned in place. When the distance between the centering blocks 1, 1 is increased again, the centered chip circuit component 8 is released and can be taken out using a component chuck. |
