In a fastener incorporating a tubular boss 7 for receiving an eyelet fitted in the edge of a sheet to be anchored by the fastener and in which a cylindrical bore 11 of the boss 7 receives a bearing surface 2 of a rotary clamping head provided with an operating head 1 which in one of its rotary position allows the positioning and disengagement of the eyelet and in another position displaced angularly to be first, blocks its withdrawal, the boss incorporates within its bore two protruberances 12a, 12b having opposed parallel faces and parallel end faces spaced from the end faces of the boss 7, the clamping head including a square section pin 3 having dimensions approximately equal to the spacing and height of the protruberances 12a, 12b and extended by a head portion 5a, 5b, the pin having at least one slot 4 parallel to a side of the pin. In use, rotation of the clamping head from the engaging position of the eyelet, Fig. 9 to the retaining position, Fig. 11, causes a twisting of the pin portions 3a, 3b, by their engagement during the rotation of the head, with the protruberances. In the arrangement according to Figs. 12-14 (not shown) an extension (24) of a boss (17) is substantially elliptical in plan, flats (24a-24d) thereon co-operating in use with arms (23d-23b) of a head (21) such that in the retaining position of the head, the arms project beyond the periphery of the boss (17). |
