PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which produces a transferred image with adequately high density and does not curl easily and a base used for the sheet. CONSTITUTION: This thermal transfer sheet is composed of film 3, pulp 2 and film l laminated in that order. An image formation layer 4 is provided on a second film 1 side, and the first film 3 is thicker than the second film 1. Preferably the first film 3 and the second film 1, meet the requirement >=1. In addition, preferably these films are made of polyethylene terephthalate or polypropyrene containing voids. |
