A process for the preparation of an immobilized glucose isomerase enzyme complex comprises reacting glucose isomerase with a basic anion-exchange cellulose by thorough mixing in an aqueous buffer at pH 7-10 and recovering the enzyme complex therefrom. The anionexchangers may be DEAE-, TEAE- or ECTEOLA-cellulose. The glocuse isomerase may be prepared by the culture of Streptomyces phaechromogenes or Lactobacillus brevis. |
