1,116,685. Duplicating machines. A. B. DICK CO. 17 June, 1965 [24 July, 1964], No. 3809/68. Divided out of 1,116,681. Heading B6C. A rotary lithographic offset duplicating machine has a control lever the movement of which to successive positions from a neutral position causes the application of ink to a master sheet, the transfer of the inked image to the blanket cylinder and the application of moistening fluid to the master, in that order, further movement of the lever against spring action causing control mechanism for feeding the copy sheets to be rendered operative, which control mechanism remains operative when the control lever is released and returns to its previous position under the action of the spring. The machine is described in Specification 1,116,681, but a modification is also included wherein after the control lever has been moved in a reverse direction from the neutral position to initiate a blanket-washing operation following completion of a printing run, and is then moved back to the neutral position, a switch is operated to stop the machine. |
