The beam (10) is open at the underside, while the manure guides (12) below it bear against the ground at their ends. The beam can be oblong and at right angles to the travel direction, while the guides can be formed by V-section troughs, being parallel to each other and at roughly 30 deg.C to the ground in the working position. The gaps between them can be covered by caps, at least at the top part. V-shaped shoes extending rearwards and open at the underside can be mounted at the guide ends, so as to thrust any grass on the land sideways.
