PURPOSE: To cool at a low temperature and a high humidity without affecting the influence of the preserving state of a material, to be preserved such as food, etc. CONSTITUTION: An air shower type unit cooler comprises a sprinkling unit 4, a filler 2, and water tanks 5A, 5B arranged from above the interior of a body, a blower 1 opposed to the filler 2 and installed perpendicularly to the sprinkling direction in its air supplying direction in such a manner that the cooling sprinkling water is directly heat exchanged with the air in the filler 2, and a resin fiber matlike filter 10 mounted at the leeward side face of the filler 2 to ventilate the air to prevent the water from scattering from the filler 2. Thus, water droplets carried on the cold air can be completely removed by the filter 10. |
