PURPOSE: To achieve stability of the direction and amount of air by preventing free rotation of a mobile diffuser at a diffuser port of an indoor unit for an air conditioning equipment by the dead load. CONSTITUTION: Some indoor units for air conditioning equipment are provided at a diffuser port thereof with upper and lower louvers to adjust the blowing of air into a room vertically and a mobile diffuser 12 to turn the lower tip of the diffuser port downward askew forward in the heating operation. In the cooling operation, the upper and lower louvers and the mobile diffuser 12 are held almost horizontally but the mobile diffuser 12 may be turned freely by the dead load. To prevent the rotation caused by the dead load, a coil spring 17 is mounted between a rotating shaft 14 of the mobile diffuser 12 and a side wall 15 of the diffuser port supporting the rotating shaft 14 free to turn to offset a rotating force by the dead load of the mobile diffuser 12. One end of the coil spring 17 is retained with a slit 18 of the rotating shaft 14 and the other end thereof is retained with a retaining part 19 provided on the side wall 15 of the diffuser port. |
