Apparatus for coating metal pipes with a thermosetting resin layer has an annular nozzle for applying the plasticised resin to the heated surface of the pipe from the filling cylinder. - The annular nozzle provides a single stream of plasticised resin homogeneously distributed over its periphery instead of divided streams as in DT 1729137. - Thus, the pipe is given a more uniform resin coating without gaps or other imperfections.
