The core lattice plate attaches to a demountable cylindrical containment supported from an inner flange in the reactor vessel and clamped by one top domed cover. Radial restrains to inhibit vibration are provided by equi-spaced adjustable bolts bearing on pads attached to the vessel wall. Similarly the containment surrounding the core is restrained by flexible plates and radial bolts adjusted through access holes in the containment and bearing against the core support cylinder. |
