<p>The conveyor belt is partic. for working round a curve, being endless and with a retaining device along one or both edges engaging with a fixed guide so as to keep it running true. The device is integral with the belt, and engages with guide pulleys along the side and acting as the guide. The drive is transmitted to the belt via these pulleys. Where the belt runs along a straight track, there can be devices engaging with driven pulleys on each side. At the ends, the top and bottom runs can join via stationary guides, of non-conical shape and pref. cylindrical or rectangular section. The pulleys can engage with the device both on the top and the bottom run of the belt.</p> |
