PURPOSE:To provide an adsorption tower in which suspended solids, etc. in raw water adhered to a packing layer are washed by installing an intermediate distribution pipe having meshes or openings of a smaller size than the diameter of packing particles to the outer layer portion of the layer and fixing a washing water drain pipe whose outlet is on the surface of the raw water at the upper part of the layer. |
