In a device for locking limit positions of movable railway-switch parts, in particular railway-switch closure, in which two parts (2, 3) which can be moved in relation to one another can be displaced into a position in which they engage frictionally in at least one direction of movement, the parts which can be displaced in relation to one another are formed by a pipe (2) and a bolt (3) which is guided axially in the pipe (2), separate locking elements (4), such as e.g. balls or rollers which can be displaced in the radial direction, being additionally provided (Fig. 1).
