PURPOSE:To remove uneasiness at called party side, by adding a function transmitting audio message of facsimile transmission to a transmission side, when a receiver of a called party side of a facsimile having automatic response function is hooked in error. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile 1 with automatic response function, called party exchange network 3 having a telephone set 2 connected to it, and calling party having a facsimile communication controller 4 constitute the line. When a calling side dials a callout signal A, the exchange network 3 calls out a called terminal 1 corresponding to the signal A, and the telephone set 2 alarms twice or three times. When a called party does not hooks up the receiver, the device 4 receives a facsimile transmission control signal B succeeding to called response signal from the exchange network 3 and starts transmission of a facsimile signal C. If a called party hooks up the receiver in error, the audio message D of facsimile transmission is transmitted from the caller side by means of a magnetic tape after (t) seconds. Thus, the uneaseness at the called party is removed, allowing smooth transmission. |
