PURPOSE:To realize the informing of both the caller number and the called time and thus ensure a highly effective process of information during the absence of a called subscriber, by connecting a multifunction telephone set including a number display device to an automatic electronic exchange incorporating a timepiece. CONSTITUTION:A main memory MM containing a memory that accumulates the caller number is connected to a central controller CC, and a timepiece CLOCK is connected to the CC to tell the called time. Then multifunction telephone sets STA- A and STA-B including a display device and capable of display of both the time and the caller number are connected to a channel SW connected with the CC, and at the same time an extension mutual call trunk IOT is connected to the SW. Thus the caller number is stored in the memory of the MM during the absence of the called subscriber, and also the time of absence is stored. As a result, the stored caller number and the called time can be displayed on the display device by operating the prescribed push-buttons of the telephone sets STA-A and STA-B. In such way, a highly effective process is ensured for the call information during the absence of the called subscriber. |
