PURPOSE:To ensure a distinct division of parentheses, by counting the overlap numbers of parentheses supplied from a key input device and discriminating the parentheses of the most outer side, those of the second outer side and those of and after the third outer sides to switch theses parentheses into print dots of the major, middle and minor parentheses, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The key operation is converted into the numeric information by a key input device 1 of a print controller, and the numeric information including the calculation formulas given from the device 1 is stored in an information storage device 2. The information from the device 2 is calculated by an arithmetic processor 3. Thus the print information is calculated and applied to a print information storage device 6. At the same time, the information from the device 2 is fed to a parenthesis overlap number detector 4 to count the overlap numbers of the parentheses of the most outer side, those of the second outer side and those of and after the third outer side respectively. Then the calculation formula is coded to the print information by a calculation formula information controller 5, and at the same time the print characters corresponding to the overlap number information and the division information on the parentheses given from the device 4 are designated through coding. Then each coded information is applied to the device 6 and then switched to printing dots corresponding to each parenthesis by a character generator 7. |
