PURPOSE:To feed various types of paper of different sizes and thicknesses with high stability, by filling an elastic material between the outer circumference part of a paper feed roll and the roll shaft of a printer, etc. CONSTITUTION:A driving roller is provided to the rear side of the cut paper, and a follower roll 4 is provided on the surface of the cut paper in oppostion to the driving roll. The roll 4 has its outer circumference surface 4a finished with a knurling tool with a metal, and this surface 4a has dot contact with the cut paper. The inner surface surface 4c of the roll 4 has a metallic smooth surface for sliding a roll shaft. The elastic rubber is filled into the area 4b between the surfaces 4a and 4c. As a result, it is possible to feed accurately the cut paper and also feed various types of paper of different sizes and thicknesses with high stability. |
