PURPOSE:To discriminate accurately each core and each unit and also to realize economization of manufacture, by putting a lot of discriminatable encoded patterns to each core and each unit immediately before colleting and covering to a unit or a cable. CONSTITUTION:A titled structure body is constituted of a collecting device or covering device 11 for collecting or covering a lot of units 4 which collects and covers an optical fiber core 1 or plural cores 1 fed from a core feeding device 10, and focusing them to a unit or a cable, a code marking device 11 for putting a separate encoded pattern to said lots of cores and units, and a winding device 13. Accordingly, a discriminating code such as a bar code, etc. is put onto the core 1 or the unit 4 by the marking device 12 before its collection, therefore, a cable which is capable of discriminating accurately a lot of cores can be manufactured economically by a simple device constitution. |
