PURPOSE:To obtain lead titanate and zirconate excellent in sintering properties and the density of sintered body or the like by mixing an aq. acid soln. contg. lead, zirconium and titanium with an aq. ammonium carbonate soln. so that the mixture is regulated to a specified pH and calcining the coprecipitate. CONSTITUTION:An aq. acid soln. contg. lead, zirconium and titanium is manufactured by such the method that the salts of chloride, nitrate, sulfate and acetate or the like of lead, zirconium and titanium are dissolved into water. The aimed lead titanate and zirconate are obtained by mixing the acid soln. with an aq. ammonium carbonate soln. so that the pH is regulated to <=6, separating the produced coprecipitate and calcining it. The obtained lead titanate and zirconate do not contain the flocculated particles and have high density and the surface activity is high and therefore the sintered body having large density can be obtained even if it is sintered at a temp. lower than a conventional method. |
