PURPOSE:To obtain a lithium secondary battery having compact size, large charge-discharge capacity, and good performance by using a specified amorphous substance as positive active material. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous substance obtained by adding at least one oxide selected from P2O5, TeO2, GeO2, Sb2O3, Bi2O3, and B2O3 to MoO3 or WO3, and melting then quickly cooling is used as positive active material. Lithium or lithium alloy is used as negative active material. A substance in which a lithium ion can move to electrochemically react with the positive active material or the negative active material is used as electrolyte. The amount of oxide to be added is 50mol% or less against MoO3 or WO3, preferably 10-25mol%. To cool quickly, a roller cooling process is applied. |
