<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a uniformly cooled material by using a uniform suction apparatus furnished with a semi-closed suction chamber formed under the deposited material layer, a suction guide tube extending over nearly the whole width of the apparatus, and plural suction holes to equalize the static pressure in the semi-closed chamber. CONSTITUTION:An air-permeable endless belt 3 is placed in the main body 1 of an apparatus such as a cooling machine for steamed raw material. A semi-closed chamber 4 is placed under the belt 3, and a suction guide tube 8 connected to the fan 6 in the semi-closed chamber 4 is extended nearly the whole width of the apparatus. Plural suction holes 9 are bored to the guide tube to equalize the static pressure in the semi-closed chamber. The steamed raw material is supplied to the hopper 2, deposited on the belt 3 with uniform thickness, and transferred. Air is sucked from the semi-closed chamber 4 and passed uniformly through the deposited layer to cool the raw material. The static pressure in the semi-closed chamber 4 can be maintained uniformly and accordingly, the air flow rate per unit area of the deposited layer can be uniformized to attain uniform temperature of the cooled material.</p> |
