<p>In order to seal and cut transversely the folded-sheet web (10) which continually passes through the rotating installation, the two welding blocks (1,1') for converting the rotary movement, on the drive side, with a vertical up and downward movement, into a linear movement adapted to the foil transit speed are carried by two cross-beams (2, 2') which on both sides of the frame are supported excentrically in a pair of discs (6) driven by spur gears (7) in opposite directions and are thus coupled with one another by entrained slide guides (4) against the force of two pressure springs (9), whereas the cutting belt system (14) with its flying knife section (15) arranged on the upper cross-beam (2) runs past the lower welding block (1') through the slotted guide inside an adjustable cutting (counter-)strip (16), and the following clamping system (17, 18) immediately ensures the support of the folded-sheet web (10) which is relieved of tension.</p> |
