PURPOSE:To prevent the electric circuit from being broken due to the connection with a reversed polarity of the battery by providing a protective circuit to close the power supply circuit when the battery is connected to the power supply circuit with a right polarity. CONSTITUTION:In case the connection of a battery 1 is made right, its current tuns through an exciter coil 9a of a main relay 9 through a diode 8 connected in the forward direction, therefore a switch 9b of the main relay 9 is closed. When the battery 1 is reversely connected, the output of the battery 1 is stopped by the diode 8 which is turned in the reverse direction, therefore the switch 9b of the main relay 9 is turned into an opened state. Accordingly, the output of the battery 1 is not supplied to an electric circuit 3 and the electric circuit 3 is protected. |
