<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a recording head, performance thereof as a product can be maintained, life thereof can be lengthened, which can be miniaturized and cost thereof can be reduced, by mounting a molded and worked sealing material around a support substrate and pushing the sealing material from an upper section by a pushing plate. CONSTITUTION:A pushing plate 12, at the center thereof a glass plate 13 is mounted, is used, and pushing rubbers 11, flexible substrates 9, sealing rubbers 10 and one ends of a support substrate 6 are pushed by a pushing plate 12 while covering an LED array chip 1 and a driver IC 7 on the support substrate 6 by the glass plate 13. Consequently, the flexible substrates 9 and one ends of the support substrate 6 are brought into contact positively, and hermetically sealed with the pushing rubbers 11 and the sealing rubbers 10, and the pushing plate 12 is clamped to a support base body 8 by screws 15 and the support substrate 6 is fixed onto the support base body 8. The LED array chip 1 and the driver IC 7 on the support substrate 6 are protected from dust and moisture, performance as a recording head can be maintained, and a hermetic sealing fixing means for the recording head is provided adjoined to the support substrate 6, thus miniaturizing the recording head.</p> |
