PURPOSE:To form an ink flow path and a nozzle easily and simply by sticking a metallic film on at least one surface of the flow path by using a flexible cementing material in a head for an ink jet printer in which the ink flow path is shaped by employing plastics. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 7-3 and a piezoelectric vibrator 6-1 are bonded firmly on a plastic diaphragm 2-3 in succession, and covers one part of a flow path 3-1. A metallic film 20 is stuck to a section not covered with the metallic plate 7-3 on the plastic diaphragm 2-3 by employing flexible pressure sensitive adhesives 21. A film in thickness of 5mu-200mum consisting of aluminum, nickel, copper or the like is used as the metallic film, and a vinyl acetate group, an silicone rubber group or a chloroprene rubber group is employed as the pressure sensitive adhesives. Moisture steam 17-3 in ink, which passes through the metallic film 20 and evaporates and scatters, is reduced extremely. Residual stress on bonding is also minimized, thus removing a solvent cracking. |
