发明名称 FUEL INJECTION DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to control the accurate supply of fuel with the use of relatively simple device, by providing a high pressure air passage through which high pressure air is intermittently fed into an intake-air passage, and by providing a fuel injection valve for intermittently injecting fuel of the amount which is determined in accordance with the operating condition of an engine, in the above-mentioned high pressure air passage. CONSTITUTION:Nozzle pipes 36 are attached respectively to intake-air branch pipes 8 which connect intake-air ports 5 in an engine to an intake-air system surge tank 9, and are attached thereto with fuel injection valves 13, respectively. Each of these fuel injection valves 13 is composed of a high pressure air introduction chamber 68 surrounding the forward section of a needle holder 36 and high pressure feed pipes 35a, 36b in which air distributors 34 are respectively disposed and through which high pressure is intermittently fed into the chamber 68 from a high pressure air tank 33. Further the air distributor 36 houses in its body a rotary valve which is rotated at a speed of one-half of the rotational speed of a crank shaft, and adapted to feed a pulse of high pressure into the fuel injection valve 13 for each engine cylinder for every rotation of the rotary valve.
