PURPOSE:To form a picture with an appropriate picture density according to the picture density of an original by detecting the quantity of light received by a light receiving means with a delecting means and controlling a development bias voltage outputted to a developing means according to the detected value with a control means. CONSTITUTION:Reflected light beams corresponding to the picture density of an original 2, which are made incident on an optical fiber light receiving part 16, is supplied to a light receiving sensor 16Z through an optical fiber 16. The reflected light beams supplied to the light receiving sensor 16Z is converted into an optical detecting signal, and its output signal is transmitted to a development bias control part 22, which controls the light quantity of a developing device 40 to adjust the exposure quantity of an exposing and scanning device 5. Thus, a picture with an appropriate picture density can be formed according to the picture density of the original 2. |
