The compound structure has prefabricated edge beams (1), longituidnal beams (5), monolithic crossbeams (3, 4) and support beams (11), to support the poured concrete deck. The ends of the longitudinal beams are part formed as steps, adapted to the oblique angle of the superstructure. The upper section of the ends of the longitudinal beams have a face (12) parallel to and set back from the line of support (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - For bridge building. Minimises shear stresses and is less labour and material intensive.
